Community Life
The commitment to a strong community distinguishes the congregation from a typical social justice organization. Members share meals, celebrations and events together, as well as reflect genuine love and care for each other in life’s joys and grief. Study together has always been a cornerstone of the growth of individuals and of the community for informed action to further social justice.
The congregation includes participants, who may work on an action issue with the congregation, and friends and extended family along with members in its activities. Geographically, our community is primarily located in Dayton and Montgomery County.

The Creation
Children’s Church is learning about Muslim holidays and celebrates Jewish and Christian Holidays:

In the past Children’s Church and friends have enjoyed a week of Bible School in the summer that has included yoga and problem solving.
CfR Drama
We've founded CfR Drama for maturing young people to create political and socially relevant theatre expressions that may address their emerging beliefs and concerns.
